Hilliard's Bay Estates is located on the northwest side of Lesser Slave Lake and is entirely surrounded by Hilliard's Bay Provincial Park. The Park covers an area of 25 square km of natural, mature boreal forest making Hilliard's Bay Estates a unique recreational property investment virtually unheard of its kind in the province.

Lesser Slave Lake is known as Alberta's fresh water ocean with sandy beaches, seagulls and clams. The Lake has a reputation for being one of the top Walleye fisheries in North America. Other fish species include Northern Pike, Lake Whitefish and Yellow Perch.
Lesser Slave Lake is the largest recreational lake entirely within Alberta Boundaries, covering 1160 square km and measuring over 100 km long and 15 km at its widest point. Lesser Slave Lake averages 11.4 m in depth and is 20.5 m at its deepest. It drains eastwards into the Athabasca River by way of the Lesser Slave River. Lesser Slave Lake is located on major migratory routes of a large number of bird species such as eagles, swans and pelicans. This makes the lake very popular with bird enthousiasts.


Driving Directions
From High Prairie take Highway 2 east past Enilda, then secondary Highway 750 past Grouard.
Follow signs to Hilliard's Bay Provincial Park approximately 14 km.
Once in the Park, continue driving to the east end.
Hilliard's Bay Estates is about 1/2 km past the group camping area.
Hilliard's Bay Estates is about 4 hrs driving from Edmonton, 2 1/2 hrs from Grande Prairie and 1 3/4 hrs from Peace River.
